QuoteValet is the online quote delivery and acceptance vehicle for QuoteWerks. It enables users to send QuoteWerks documents to their customers without a PDF attachment in the email. QuoteValet creates a personalized web page on QuoteValet.com and automatically creates a link to the web page and inserts it into the email being sent to the customer.
When the customer clicks on the link in the email, their quote will be opened in their web browser and an email will be sent to the QuoteWerks user notifying them that their quote has been viewed. Customers can also electronically accept the quote in their browser and submit questions on the document without having to navigate away from their quote.
Notifications will also be sent via email when questions are submitted or the quote is approved. Credit card payment can also be accepted for the order. QuoteValet is an optional add-on subscription for QuoteWerks.
QuoteValet gives you the ability to configure QuoteValet quotes to allow customers to select/deselect optional items, change item quantities, and provide real-time feedback. Setting optional items and allowing Customers to change item quantities are configured in line attributes while the ability to comment and provide feedback on quotes is enabled by default.
Once you have your quote built and before sending it to your Customer using QuoteValet you can edit line attributes to allow your Customer to interact with the products on your quote.
Line attributes control the configuration for any line on the document workbook. They can be used to assign a tax code, hide prices, quantities, and pictures, exclude or not print line items, set recurring settings, and control how users can interact with the line items in QuoteValet.
To edit a line’s attributes select the line, right click and select Edit Line Attributes. This will open the line attributes window for that line.
Here is a brief description of each option you have in the Line Attributes window:
Delivering a QuoteValet Quote is easy. You simply need to add your products, configure your quote options, assign a customer, and hit the Deliver icon in the standard toolbar.
This will open the Print, Share, Publish Deliver Document window. Here you can add a Cover Page, Layout, Literature, Spec Sheets, and links to your quote. You also have the option to Print, Preview, E-Mail, Save as PDF, Submit for Peer Review, or Request Approval.
To upload the quote to QuoteValet click on the Upload to QuoteValet button. You will be prompted to save your document.
Clicking on Upload to QuoteValet will open the Upload to QuoteValet window. Here you can view the PDF quote and configure both Signing and Reminder Options. You will select your template which in most cases will be *S]CustomerFacing. Once all selection have been made click on Upload.
From here you can preview the Customer Presentation web page and deliver the quote via email. To deliver the quote via email you will click on the Send Email button. The email will include a link to the QuoteValet webpage where customers can view, make changes to (as configured), and accept the quote.
See below for a section of a QuoteValet Quote Webpage that shows how Customers have the ability to change quantities on some items and optionally select/deselect other options.
Another way Customers can interact with QuoteValet quotes is to submit comments or questions using the Have Questions? section of the QuoteValet webpage. Any submissions will be sent to the Sales Rep email and logged on the QuoteValet webpage.
