Your business has already invested in the applications, data, and processes that keep it running. Your CPQ and quoting software should build on that investment.
That philosophy guides our work on QuoteWerks Web. We are expanding native integrations while giving customers and partners more ways to create their own connections and customize the quoting experience.
QuoteWerks Web connects configure, price, quote (CPQ) workflows with other business systems through native integrations, bidirectional Zapier workflows, scripting APIs, webhooks, and the REST API.
Our goal is straightforward: QuoteWerks should feel like a natural part of how your business works.
Native integrations provide ready-built connections for everyday work. They bring information and actions from other business systems into the quoting process.
Our recent QuoteWerks Web development includes Pipedrive CRM integration, Pax8 vendor integration, FedEx and UPS shipping rates, and online ordering with Ingram Micro, TD SYNNEX, and D&H. Xero accounting integration is also on the way, extending our focus on connecting quoting with the financial systems customers use. Follow the QuoteWerks Web updates and roadmap for progress.
Consider our Pipedrive integration. Salespeople can use existing contact information, associate quotes with deals, and create or update deals as they quote. The connection helps keep quoting and pipeline management aligned.
That is what a useful integration should accomplish: put the right information where people need it and reduce the work required to keep systems connected.
Explore the wider QuoteWerks integration ecosystem to see connections across CRM, PSA, accounting, vendors, payments, and more. Availability and functionality vary by integration and platform.
The QuoteWerks Web Zapier integration enables information to move in both directions: QuoteWerks can initiate workflows in other applications, and other applications can create or update information in QuoteWerks.
Customers and partners can build full integrations spanning contact searches, product searches, CRM opportunities, and quote creation and updates.
Zapier can act as a Contact Data Source or Product Data Source. Salespeople search within QuoteWerks Web, Zapier queries the connected system, and matching contacts or products return directly to the quoting interface.
Your existing systems can supply the data your sales team needs without interrupting the quoting process.
QuoteWerks can retrieve, create, and update CRM opportunities through Zapier. External applications can also find, create, and update QuoteWerks quotes and line items.
The integration is included with all QuoteWerks Web editions. The scope of each integration depends on the connected applications’ capabilities and the workflows you configure; a separate Zapier plan may be required.
For example, a configured workflow could start with a request in another application, create a QuoteWerks quote, add line items, and notify a salesperson to review it. A workflow starting in QuoteWerks could respond to quote activity and initiate the next step in another system.
Explore the available triggers and actions in the QuoteWerks listing on Zapier.
This flexibility gives organizations a practical way to connect sales quoting software with the applications they already use, including systems beyond QuoteWerks’ native integrations.
Connecting applications is one part of fitting into a business. Supporting its rules and procedures is another.
QuoteWerks Web scripting lets customers and partners adapt behavior inside the application. Scripts can validate information, apply pricing logic, guide users, and respond to events during the quoting process.
The built-in AI assistant can help generate scripts from plain-English instructions. Technical users can refine the JavaScript, while teams can test and adjust the resulting behavior to match their requirements. Learn more about QuoteWerks scripting and custom development.
For external data access, the QuoteWerks REST API provides documented ways to query QuoteWerks data. Its documentation also describes OData endpoints for business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Excel, and Tableau.
These options serve different purposes. Scripting adapts the experience inside QuoteWerks Web. The REST API provides a separate path for external applications to access data through supported endpoints.
Customers and developers can choose the approach that matches the work they need to accomplish.
Our partners bring valuable experience with the details that make each customer’s workflow different.
Paul Hodgetts, Managing Director of QuoteWerks partner Quintadena, shared this feedback while demonstrating an early validation prototype built with the QuoteWerks Web scripting API:
“Having pestered you for many years about this, it seems only right to say thank you, and that I am absolutely delighted with what you've given us this year.”
His prototype used configured fields, existing field labels, and lookup values to build a validation form inside QuoteWerks Web. When the user submitted the form, the script wrote the selected values back into QuoteWerks.
That example shows why customization matters. A business can present its own required information within the quoting process, using terminology and choices its team already recognizes.
In a later update, Paul described additional work on Quintadena’s workflow app, including rules that automatically attach the appropriate country-specific customer registration form based on information in the quote.
It is a practical example of a partner extending QuoteWerks Web around a customer’s operating requirements.
A quote often starts work elsewhere in the organization.
Webhooks send event notifications that a connected workflow can use to take action. QuoteWerks Web and QuoteValet support events involving document activity and customer actions such as viewing, accepting, signing, or paying for a quote. These capabilities are described in our automation and development resources.
For example, an organization could configure an accepted-quote event to start an operations handoff. A payment event could initiate an accounting notification. The receiving system and configured workflow determine what happens next.
The value is continuity: information from the quoting process can help the next team begin its work.
A useful starting point is the manual step your team repeats most often.
Are salespeople copying contact details between systems? Searching another application for product information? Remembering which form to attach? Telling operations that a quote has been accepted?
Those everyday tasks help identify where a native integration, bidirectional Zapier workflow, custom script, or API connection could make the biggest difference.
We are continuing to invest in both the connections we build and the tools customers and partners use to extend QuoteWerks themselves. Together, they give organizations more flexibility to make CPQ and quoting software fit their business.
